The chateau is located in the village of St. Julien l’Ars, 15 kilometers east of the city of Poitiers, which is easily accessible by motorway, rail and air.

The TGV (high speed train) makes the trip from Paris to Poitiers in around 90 minutes with trains departing from both Charles De Gaulle International Airport and from the Gare Montparnasse.

The Poitier Airport is connected by jet to London and other European centers as well as to the major regional centers of France.

Train

Poitiers Station, which is approximately 20 min. by car from the chateau, is served by frequent TGV high-speed trains traveling the main line between Paris and Bordeaux and thence to all other major destinations in Europe. All major rental car agencies and taxis are available outside the train station.

Plane

Poitiers Airport, north of the city and approx. 25 min. by car from the chateau, is served by direct flights from London run by the low-cost carrier, Ryanair, and by Air France from Paris and other major European cities. Rental cars and taxis are available at the airport.

Car

The North Poitiers exit off the A10, Paris to Bordeaux, motorway is a one hour drive from Tours and four hours from Paris. From the motorway the village of St Julien l’Ars located on National Route D951 halfway between Poitiers and Chauvigny, is about a 20 min. drive.
